Who are we looking for?
The Product Specialist we’re looking for will be contributing to a high-performing system that delivers what we promise: a positive user experience and therefore satisfied customers. You’ll be doing that by ensuring the quality of our system – both the hardware and the software – and by supporting customers, colleagues and partners through your knowledge of the system.
To thrive in and enjoy this role, you need to be someone who loves looking for issues in the system and figuring out exactly where and why a problem occurs. Furthermore, providing support to and helping customers, colleagues and partners with your in-depth knowledge gives you energy. You’re a spirited team player who likes a challenge and has an eye for detail.

Senior secondary vocational education level 4 or higher in ICT
Full professional proficiency in English and Dutch; French and German would be plus

What can you expect when you start?
Your onboarding starts with the Support Desk team. That way you’ll get to know Vecos, your colleagues, our values, and last but not least: our system, and the issues our customers encounter. This will provide you with a solid foundation for the next step.
Once you’ve acquired sufficient knowledge of the system, you’ll join the Product Management & IT team. There, you’ll continue to learn about the system and conduct regression tests in a wide variety of use cases. The new or modified features R&D has developed and tested: you’ll be challenging these. As Product Specialist, with more real-life knowledge of our system, you’ll be conducting tests to search for issues, delving into the cause of the problem and solving it.
When you have sufficient knowledge of the system, you’ll also handle 2nd line support questions. These are more complex questions of customers, colleagues and partners worldwide that the Support Desk is unable to answer or take more time to solve. This part of the job can also include supporting customers and colleagues when starting up a new project. For instance with data import, advanced configurations, API clients, users and the network.
